"got trois?"
I figure that with the plethora of female figures and characters compared to the relative dearth of males, the dating possibilities for the likes of James and Don are pretty good.
Also, you can blame the title on my wife. Up until this morning, it was going to just be "Trio", but she went on about some "Got Milk?" variations this morning.
. . .
Technically, this was a tough scene. In fact, I was practically trying to break poser/firefly. That's a V3, a Glamorous Glennis, and a James, dynamic hair, dynamic cloth, heavy use of procedural shaders (thanks to face_off's real skin shader), a light atmosphere on the light coming through the window shades, IBL for the fill, and AO on various lights, and just to top it off, depth of field to blur that silly grin off James' face.
No postwork except for the framing.
Render time: 18 hours on a 3.6GHz Pentium 4 w/ 4GB of RAM.

This is sort of a followup to my earlier image "False Hope". It mostly just started out as a pinup because I liked the pose, but then the background slowly grew into something much darker.
Looking back, this has become one of my favorite images because it's making such a powerful statement while at the same time being very understated. At times, I think about rerending this for print, but I'm not sure any of my art shows would really take it.

I did this piece for another artist at Renderosity going by the handle Prog. There was a little controversy going on at the time, as he was quite popular and some felt that his popularity was undeserved. It got a little nasty in the forums.
However, Prog had been very supportive some of us just starting out. He wasn't the only one, but he was certainly one of them. This was just my way of saying thanks.
