I have a new tool, Corel Painter, and I'm playing around with using it for a new postwork technique. If you're not familiar with Painter, it lets you paint an image from a reference image very easily. So, while you're essentially cloning an image, it's all done with original brush strokes. I'm looking at it as a possible way of reducing the rendered appearance of my art.
Anyway, here's that last image, redone via painter.
Well, I think my health has finally turned the corner, so I am going to AggieCon. I don't have any new pieces to show there, but I do have a few that haven't been to AggieCon. Hopefully I'll be painting more that I'm better and will have new work in time for some of the summer/fall shows.
